When HR has been excluded from the strategic discussions in the C-Suite, it’s largely because HR leadership fails to recognize and provide the information needed at the highest levels of the organization or presents the information ineffectively.
This webinar addresses the implications for both the organization and HR when HR is a strategic leader, the type of HR information the C-Suite leaders need to make strategic decisions, and how the information should be presented and communicated for it (and HR) to add maximum value for the organization.
HR should be at the table when strategic decisions are made because, without HR representation, the impact of those decisions on the workforce isn’t always considered. HR’s lack of understanding of strategic business operations is one of the primary factors preventing their inclusion in the strategic decision-making process. To be strategic partners, HR leadership must identify what the C-Suite expects from them, how they can maximize their effectiveness in communicating with the C-Suite, and how their participation adds value to the organization’s overall strategic planning process.
