Adriana van der Graaf, MBA, RHIA, CHP, CCS has over 40 years of Health Information Management and Revenue Cycle experience. This experience includes Health Information Management and Revenue Cycle Management in hospitals of all sizes, from 50 beds to 1000 beds; HMOs, Academic Medical Centers, and Integrated Health Care Delivery Systems. She has designed and implemented integrated CDI programs in hospitals of various sizes with a significant increase in documentation quality and Case Mix Index (CMI) She is also an experienced HIM educator for face to face and remote learners, teaching medical terminology, Health Information Management subjects, coding, and medical transcription. In addition, she is an AHIMA Mentor. She is a credentialed Registered Health Information Administrator, certified in Health Care Privacy and a Certified Coding Specialist, and AHIMA approved ICD-10 CM/PCS Trainer. She is a member of AHIMA, CHIA, ACDIS, HFMA.
