CHRIS HITSELBERGER
Chris began his career in construction in 1978 and became a journeyman carpenter and gained knowledge in a variety of other building trades. In 1987 he became a General Contractor. In 1990 he began his college career with the intention of earning a BS in Construction at Arizona State University in order to advance his contracting career. He developed an interest in the financial side of construction so he worked a bit harder a earned a BS in Finance in addition to the BS in Construction. He found out that if he wanted to work on the finance side of a large construction company he would need an MBA so upon graduation he went directly into the MBA program at the University of Southern California. Upon graduation, he was recruited into the Cost Segregation practice of Arthur Andersen, LLP in 1997. Since then he has run the Cost Segregation groups at Marshall & Stevens, CBRE, and now a SourceHOV tax. He had defended Cost Segregation reports more than 25 times in front of the IRS.
