Horacio Lewis Ph.D. ThD is a native of Latin who immigrated to the United States on a student scholarship. He is now a naturalized U.S. citizen. He is the Founder/CEO of HDLEWIS ENTERPRISES LLC which includes the Fairness Institute and Interfaith Ministry. He has attended several universities in Panama and the U.S. where he studied Biology, Mathematics, Humanities, Urban Education/Inner City Studies and Spanish Literature. He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor of Spanish and a practicing Ordained Interfaith Pastor. Dr. Lewis has written over 100 books, articles and book chapters and has received a number of awards for his work, including the Jefferson Award for Public Service. He established programs for Aspira of Illinois, Indiana University and the State of Delaware (school desegregation). Moreover, he chaired the DE Governor’s Council of Hispanic Affairs, The Latino Task Force, Child Protective Services Commission, and the Delaware Advisory Commission to the United States Commission on Civil Rights among others. Dr. Lewis is also a Founding Member of TransAfrica, the Rosa Parks Wall of Tolerance and the National African American History Museum. He has taught or been an administrator at Brown University, The University of Delaware, Delaware State University, The Delaware Department of Education, Springfield College, Governors State University, Delaware Technical and Community College…Much of his work is listed in Whos’ Who publications.
