His passion is influencing people to inspire positive attitudes, healthy behaviors, improve company culture, quality, and performance with exceptional compliance, leadership, management, staffing, and training. He provides innovative solutions to complex issues working with diverse people at all levels by clearly communicating individual and organizational goals for continual improvement. Achievements include helping several company’s earn safety excellence awards, reducing accidents, incidents, liability and workers compensation insurance costs by using effective and efficient audits, business consulting, evaluations, good catch programs, hazard analysis, inspections, leading indicators, policies-procedures-program reviews, risk assessments, root cause analysis, and written reports. Having advanced experience and knowledge of ANSI, DOT, EM-385, EPA, MSHA, OSHA, and USACE Regulatory Standards, Larry is a qualified trainer in Active Assailant, Confined Space, Defensive Driving, Emergency Response, Excavation & Trenching, Fall Protection, AED/BBP/CPR/First Aid, Forklifts, HAZWOPER, Lockout-Tagout, Machine Guarding, Material Handling, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, Scaffolding, Silica, Traffic Control, and Workplace Violence. He serves on several Health & Safety Advisory Groups representing employers, is an enthusiastic contributor with outstanding leadership, excellent public speaking, presentation, and team building skills. Larry started SAFE- Safety Associates For Employers LLC with his wife Cathy in 2010 after a good friend was killed in a workplace accident. He builds on a reputation of personal accountability, commitment, integrity, responsibility, trust, and value to create and sustain safe work practices. His boots on the ground hands-on approach are what sets him apart. Contracting with business owners and decision-makers, SAFE delivers results that enhance and promote the value of workplace safety.
