MARLA HARR
Marla Harr is an owner and chief consultant for Business Etiquette International, a company whose goal is to help others master the soft skills and business protocols needed to succeed in today’s competitive environment for workforce talent. After graduating from The Ohio State University, she began her career in retail management holding executive positions in human resources, training & development and information technology transfer. She changed careers and entered the meeting and event industry. And, in 2007 her love for helping others to excel professionally led her to open Business Etiquette International. Backed by 35 years of experience she brings both the entrepreneurial spirit and corporate professionalism that helps individuals to grow and to develop their own style. Marla has authored two books: From Campus to Corporate – Soft Skills and Etiquette Tips to Transition with Confidence and From Courage to Courtesy – Soft Skills and Etiquette Tips for the Fire Service. She is an adjunct professor at Arizona State University and California State University. Certified and trained by the Protocol School of Washington®
