VERN SCHELLENGER
VERN SCHELLENGER Vern is an accomplished Human Resource professional with more than 25 years of experience with organizations as diverse as Dunkin Donuts, the American Chemistry Council, Lee Hecht Harrison and the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators and the American Bankers Association. He is currently a principal consultant with Contacts Count. Vern has held senior leadership positions as a HR generalist, the head of a corporate university, and as a career management consultant and coach. His extensive background in human resource development and broad-based business experience means that he helps clients see the “big picture” while at the same time taking the specific actions necessary to achieve success. His areas of expertise include business and professional networking, career development, career management and transition, talent management, leadership development, training design and delivery, performance management, and organizational development. He’s delivered keynotes for groups at Princeton University, SHRM, the Smithsonian Institution, and Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Vern earned his Masters degree in Leadership and Organizational Change at George Washington University. He is a member of the Association for Talent Development and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the SWFL chapter of ATD. Prior to relocating to Naples FL, Vern served on the Board of Directors for the HR Leadership Forum of Greater Washington and was a member of the Washington Networking Group. He was a 2008 nominee for the HR Leadership Award presented by The HR Leadership Awards of Greater Washington.
