In this webinar, we will walk through the Covey 7 Habits model and do a deep dive on habits 1, 2, 5 and 7. We will explore the three major choices people have when dealing with whatever curve (negative event) occurs. We will explore concepts such as:
- The limits of the “victim” and “win/lose” response
- Why a compelling personal mission builds resilience and a reminder of choice
- How to show more empathy by defining clear boundaries
- The four areas of personal renewal we each must tend to
Areas Covered
- Habit 1 – “Be Proactice” and taking responsibility for our choices
- Habit 2 “Begin with the end in mind” and the purpose of a personal mission statement
- Habit 5 “Seek first to understand then to be understood” if you can embrace abundance thinking instead of scarcity thinking
- Habit 7 – “Sharpen the Saw” and the importance of taking care of yourself in 4 areas

Why Should You Attend
With the pace of change and the unpredictability of the world and business landscape, it is no surprise people are finding it harder and harder to fully engage at work. Frayed work relationships, long-term employment harder and harder to envision and a fraught environment make it challenging for all. This workshop uses Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and draws on thought leaders like Brene Brown, Adam Grant, Peter Block and Simon Sinek to identify ways people can develop the resilience and courage to bring their full selves to work each day.
Topic Background
This workshop has been delivered as a two day live session, a one day live session and now as a :90 webinar. It is more of a motivational type of session than it is a “skill-building” one.
